Marlboro Ranch Trip

We got back yesterday from the trip of a lifetime!!! We had a great time and I just wanted to post a few key pictures to give you all a "teaser" - I will post more about it later. They kept us busy and extremely well-fed the whole time we were there.

Here's a quick overview of our activities:

Day 1:
  • Arrived at the ranch at 5pm
  • Appetizers & Dinner (BBQ Ribs, BBQ Chicken were the main course)
  • Drinks

Day 2:
  • Breakfast at 7
  • Cattle Drive in the morning - We drove 200 pair Corriente from one pasture to another about a mile and a half away)
  • Lunch
  • Driving H1 Hummers through the Mountains (my favorite! This was no course in a field, they actually let us drive Hummers up mountain sides and through big ditches)
  • Massage
  • Town Party with magicians, live music, roping dummy, branding leather and trick roper Kowboy Kal!
  • Dinner at the Livery (Trout and the best beef brisket you've ever tasted with homemade Cheesecake for dessert)
  • Live Music, Karaoke and DJ

Day 3:
  • Breakfast at 7
  • Mountain Hiking and Zip Line
  • Lunch (Yummy Sliders and wonderful chicken salad!)
  • Clay Shooting - This was the first time I had ever shot and I did pretty darn good!
  • Fly Fishing
  • Massage
  • Ranch Party on the Lake
  • Dinner in the Saloon (Roasted Sirloin)
  • Live Music, Poker, Blackjack and Line Dancing in the Livery

Day 4:
  • Breakfast (Omelet bar)
  • Massage
  • Travel
