Double U Ranch visit

The kids and I went to Double U Ranch on Saturday evening and had a great time with the Peddycords, Double U's and their kids. Thanks Patty for the best steak I've had in a lllloonnnnggg time! Here's some pics:

Zoo Day!

We had a great day at the zoo today! The weather was great, a steady ~70 degrees and a little overcast so the animals weren't shy about coming out in the open. The only drawback was that every elementary school in the 5 surrounding counties decided to take a field trip to the zoo. Blake was great, Bekah got to pet an elephant and feed a giraffe. I'd have to say Bekah's favorite part was the carousel, though, she loved it!! Overall, a successful zoo trip!

Miscellaneous Update

I haven't posted anything recently because there really hasnt' been much going on with the family, except recovering from being sick. Unfortunately, we had to take Blake back to the doctor yesterday who said he has a couple of nasty ear infections. Stinks... but they have him on some more powerful antibiotics now that will hopefully kick the problem. Poor little guy...

I'm taking a vacation day from work tomorrow and Kay (babysitter) and I are taking the kids to the zoo. I can't wait - the weather is supposed to be nice and mild and I'm sure the kids will love it!!

Also, over Memorial Day weekend, we're heading to Wilstem Ranch! Looking forward to this trip and actually being able to sit on a horse again, even though it won't be Budha.

This is what I got for Mother's Day: Morphy Richards Food Fusion Kitchen Machine. It's awesome! I made my first batch of cinnamon rolls with it last night and it worked like a charm. Twice as powerful as a Kitchenaid! What sweet, thoughtful kids we have!
